Christine Kilian, Occupational Therapist


Expertise:

Christine is an occupational therapist at Braaten Health's Midwest Therapy division.  She has experience in the field of occupational therapy and her professional background includes working in outpatient acute care, hospital in-patient, skilled nursing, long-term care and has completed an internship focused on special needs children within the school system.  

She specializes in:
  • Special needs children
  • Veterans
  • Acute hand therapy in the outpatient setting

Christine has known from a young age that she wanted to work in a field helping people. Her cousin with cerebral palsy has been a lifelong inspiration. Christine has also served in the United States Air Force, and is a military spouse to her husband Tavis who serves in the Air National Guard. Christine is very passionate about serving veterans in her field of occupational therapy.

Christine holds a degree in 
  • Master of Occupational Therapy from St.Ambrose University, Davenport, IA in 2011.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St.Ambrose University, Davenport, IA in 2011.
  • Is licensed to practice occupational therapy in Iowa.

Interests:

When not caring for patients at Midwest Therapy, Christine enjoys spending time with her husband, children and their family pet Dewey the pug. Other interests include: watching her children play sports, yoga, drinking coffee and red wine.
